Electronic Arts has dabbled with First Person Shooter development since early in the 2000 turn of the century. Medal of Honor rose then fell to Call of Duty. Call of Duty rose, and EA wants to take away some marketshare from Activision with the Battlefield brand starting with Battlefield 3.
